Enrique Iglesias

You would think that Enrique Iglesias has nothing left to prove. After all, the Madrid-born, Miami-raised singer has sold 40 million albums in little over a decade, becoming one of the most successful artists in the history of popular music. Then again, Enrique is not your average pop star. Consider this: the singer has spent the past three years crafting his latest album. Three years of non-stop traveling, writing, recording, pressing the ‘delete’ button, only to begin all over again until he’s 100% sure that his vision is perfectly realized. Now, it finally has. Entitled “Insomniac,” a humorous nod to Enrique’s sleepless nights and obsessive artistic persona, the record is clearly the most ambitious project of his phenomenal career. “When I started this process, I wasn’t really sure of the specific sound that I was looking for,” Enrique says over breakfast at a posh hotel in Beverly Hills. “What I did know was that I wanted to have a respectable repertoire of songs to begin with. On my previous records, I would always start with a dozen ideas. This time, I wrote between 40 and 50 new tunes.” Enrique also spent a long time pondering the specific qualities of the project’s sound. Should it be seeped in hip-hop and electronic beats– a prerequisite for commercial success in the new millennium? “I guess at first I did want to consciously make a record that had a cool sound to it,” he says candidly. “But then I said to myself: ‘fuck that. I don’t want to take myself too seriously.’ The truth is, I just want to write songs that I like. It’s as simple as that.” Thus began the three year journey with stops in Miami, Los Angeles and Sweden, as well as the contribution of renowned producers such as Sean Garret, Max Martin, Kristian Lundin, Mark Taylor & Paul Barry, and Anders Bagge. “When I make a record, I work at night,” says Enrique. “So basically I’ve spent three years working at night and sleeping during the day. I’ve been hyperactive all my life. The word insomniac was the first that came to mind when I was trying to come up with a suitable title for the album.” Some of the record’s highlights include “Push,” a hip-hop flavored collaboration with rapper Lil’ Wayne, as well as “Ring My Bell,” a moody track that Enrique wrote in Los Angeles together with two of his favorite songwriting partners, Swedish composer Kristian Lundin (Savan Kotecha also collaborated on the track). “Do you know those moments in life when you stumble a little, and you accidentally discover something that changes you?,” asks Enrique in his typically casual, unpretentious demeanor. “That’s exactly what happened to me with ‘Ring My Bell.’ It wasn’t a dramatic change, but the feeling of that song changed my opinion of what the album should be all about.” “The recording of ‘Push’ was very similar that way,” he continues. “I had experimented with the stylistic innovations of hip-hop before, but I had never felt really comfortable with it. This time, it was a completely different experience. In fact, there’s not a song in the entire album where I’m trying to be someone that I’m not.” As Enrique continued on his personal search of songwriting discovery and recording experimentation, “Insomniac” underwent a metamorphosis. “If you listened to the album two years ago, it has nothing to do with what it is today,” he says. In its final incarnation, “Insomniac” contains twelve songs in English and three in Spanish. There is an additional 20 tracks that were recorded during those lengthy sessions, but ultimately abandoned when they didn’t
meet Enrique’s strict standards for the album. “I could have made a second album if I wanted to,” he explains. “But I don’t think those songs will ever see the light of day.” He adds: “If they’re called b-sides, then they shouldn’t be on an album.” Born in 1975, Enrique led the life of a typical teen while growing up in Miami. He started writing and recording songs without telling his parents about it. In fact, he shopped his first demo posing as a Central American unknown named Enrique Martínez. Only after landing a record contract with regional Mexican label Fonovisa, did Enrique decide to use his real name. Recorded in Spanish, his self-titled debut sold more than a million copies in the first three months after it was released (to this day, it has sold over seven million). His second effort, 1997’s “Vivir,” broke into the U.S. Top 40 and was promoted with the first of many lavishly produced world tours. Within three years, Enrique became the biggest-selling Spanish-language singer in the world. He has enjoyed 16 #1 Billboard Latin hits, more than any other artist in history. Enrique was now ready to expand his audience beyond the Latin market. Released in 1999, “Enrique” was his first English album, and the first one recorded for Interscope. It included the mega-hits “Bailamos” (We Dance), “Rhythm Divine,” “Be With You,” and “Could I Have This Kiss Forever,” a duet with Whitney Houston. In the U.S., the platinum album was certified double, and Enrique was seen by millions during the 2000 Super Bowl halftime show. “Enrique” achieved gold or platinum status in 32 countries. The singer would eventually become the best selling international artist of all time in India. Then came “Escape,” which included the hits “Hero” and “Escapar,” and cemented Enrique’s superstar status in Europe by selling 10 million copies. Both the album and single of the same name were simultaneously the #1 album and single in the U.K. Entitled “Quizás,” Enrique’s fourth Spanish-language album established him as one of the few recording artists ever to score a U.S. multiplatinum English-language album (”Escape”) followed by a U.S. multiplatinum Spanish-language album (”Quizas”). Enrique’s success continued in 2003 with his aptly titled seventh album “7,” setting the stage for the artistic odyssey that culminates now with the release of “Insomniac.” “I’ve never suffered so much making an album,” says Enrique with a laugh. “It was a journey of soul searching and self discovery for me.” “I’m not gonna claim as we all artist do with a new album that this is my best album ever, or the one with the best production or the best songs,” he concludes. “One thing is for sure, though. I gave myself completely into the making of this one record — heart and soul.”

Keith Flint

Kaith, perhaps, the celebrated personality in group. Kaith – person Prodigy. First of all, it connect tiwith its appearance and a strange manner of behaviour on a scene. Almost all parts of the Keith’s body are pierced and ornamented by various tattoos. On live performances of group Flint behaves as the maniac who has run away from a mental hospital: he in every possible way tries to warm up crowd, sometimes even pouring over spectators water or spitting them. He even has somehow suggested to set fire to itself (himself) on one of the group performances, but it, thank God, have dissuaded. In the childhood Kate adored Pink Floyd and all British fate culture. Its image of those times also testifies to it: long hair, a leather jacket. Kate travelled on the motorcycle much and has travelled a large quantity of different places. In 80 it, as well as other participants Prodigy, the rave has taken a great interest in culture and did not pass any rave-party. But, despite image of the psychopath, Kate very kind and sympathetic person. One of its favourite hobbies potters in a garden. But here than it is really sick Kate so it is motorcycle races. The motorcycle for it is ALL! I think, all remember, how Kate has frightened all admirers Prodigy, hardly without having broken into a motorcycle. It happens just for couple of weeks to a concert in Peter.

Leeroy Thornhill
Date of birth: on October, 7th 1969
The birthplace: Braintree, Essex
Role in group: the dancer
Leeroy since small years was interested in dances. It was and remains James Brown’s great admirer. He could stay hours in the childhood in front of the TV, observing of dances of the idol. A bit later Lyre itself has been captured by a wave of the hip-hop, and in particular, its irreplaceable making – a breakdancing. It with friends the whole nights twisted a break directly in city centre on the piece of linoleum taken with self. With formation of group “Prodigy” by Leeroy has incurred a role of the main and irreplaceable dancer. (The truth the few know that Leeroy not only danced. At an early stage he played keys during time “Rock n ‘ Roll”, and Liam played at this time on shock).
Since 1994 Lyre has started to collect own sound recording studio, and on April, 4th, 2000 has left Prodigy to begin solo career under pseudonym Flightcrank (to a word, Flightcrank is a name of very expensive model BMX ` and, which Leeroy very much was to be had in the childhood, but there was no on it money. Now it at it is). Its debut album “Beyond All Reasonable Doubt” has been published on April, 2nd, 2001 Now by Leeroy has seriously taken a great interest of dj’ing, and as the DJ it became the frequent and long-awaited visitor in Russia. On a question, whether it is easy to be a dj, with Leeroy has answered so: “it is so easy that everyone can be it. I am simple surprised when dj starts to consider itself as someone like God. Any can become dj. In the world the heap of those who more abruptly me, but they simply are in a shade, at them is not present chances to leave on light, to prove. But it is pleasant to me dj’ing is me inserts.” At present, seemingly, Leeroy it is completely happy. At it the loving wife, grows up the small daughter. Thus it continues to go on tour actively and conducts large dancing shows in Europe. Together with the wife and a daughter he lives in a windmill in a deaf English small village. (In the same place there is its sound recording studio). Communication with group at it, of course, remains. “I do not know that will be after the following album The Prodigy. But I only would be glad to make something together”.

Gizz Butt

The birthplace: Peterborough

After Jim Devis has left Prodigy in 1996, the group needed the new guitarist, and after a while one journalist from “Kerrang!”, which was good friend of Gizz Butt, has transferred its phone number to group. And thus Gizz has joined to Prodigy.
Gizz (a real name – Graham) was born and lives in Peterborough. It is not the beginner on musical arena. Butt has started to act with various pank groups since 14 years! From the same age it carries the pseudonym – Gizz (in abbreviated form from Gizzard – the character of popular TV-show). Its first command was the pank collective “English Dogs” in which he played a guitar and sang a little. After, together two other participants of group, Gizz has collected new collective – “Janus Stark” (the character from comics 70) – a pank command with interesting sounding. The group has let out the debut album “Great Adventure Cigar” in 1997. In the new group Gizz Batt has proved that it is not only the fine guitarist, but also the talented author of songs and good frontman.
As to Prodigy Gizz has grown fond of this command when still went on tour with “English Dogs”. Children have allowed to it to listen “Music for the Jilted Generation” and it has come to full delight. Gizz went on tour with Prodigy during all round in support “The Fat of the Land” and took part in many other concerts. It is necessary to notice that many fans Prodigy give preferences to this guitarist as it and Kate Flint very fine looked together on a scene: both rushed as madwomen, jumped and created the unimaginable!
Now Gizz gives all free time to group “Janus Stark”.

Jim Davies
Role in group: the Guitarist
Jim Devis is known as the participant of group of noise terrorists from England “Pitchshifter” (since 1999), the leader of an own command “The One Condition”, and also the cooperation with Prodigy, both in their live activity, and in the studio. Jim began the musical career in several unknown pank groups and the groups playing the covers-versions of known songs. Further was engaged in studio work as the sessional musician. For the first time it has met with Prodigy in 1995 when the group played university in which Jim studied. Davies went on that concert on purpose to look at their guitarist but when has not found out that, has written down a demo-cartridge and has given its to Liam Houlett. In 2 weeks Liam has called back and has suggested to act with them.
Jim Devis acted with Prodigy till 1996. At concerts its guitar work was used for execution of such tracks as “Their Law”, “Break And Enter ‘ 95″ and various interludes. Jim’s guitar parties sound in albums “Music for the Jilted Generation” and “The Fat of the Land”. Also it took part in solo activity of Kejta of Flint, and has performed guitar parts on tracks “Scheming” and “Prism” from Maxim’s album “Hell’s Kitchen”.
Together with returning Prodigy to concert activity in 2002, Jim began to act again with group at festivals and concerts. But on May, 12th, 2005 it became known that he leaves group completely to concentrate it to group “The One Condition”. Jim has assured all fans that will continue cooperation with Prodigy in a studio recording.
Favourite groups: NOFX, Rage Against the Machine, Korn, The Jam, Helmet, Smashing Pumpkins, Atari Teenage Riot.
Jim considers as the greatest musical achievements: the first offer Prodigy to act with them, performance with Pitchshifter on the main scene of festival in Reading, two greatest a concert in the Astoria in support of album Pitchshifter “Deviant”, and the subsequent offer Prodigy to act again with them.

Sharky
Role in group: the Dancer at concerts
The unique girl who ever acted with Prodigy during concerts. Sharky is at the beginnings of group. Along with Liamom, Kejtom, Maxim and Leeroem, it is considered founder Prodigy. Sharky was girl-friend of Kaitt and Leeroy, and they often came off together in various clubs of Essex. She danced on a scene during the very first and early performances of group. Debut has taken place in 1990 in club “Labyrinth”, in east part of London. Last concert with its participation has passed in the end of 1990. It is necessary to notice that the girl simply liked to dance under the favourite music. Probably, it also caused that she has left a team so early. When children signed the first contract with XL-Recordings, she has felt that all it is too serious and professional for it. It has rendered a great influence on dancing style of Kejta and Liroja! On the first singles from an album “Experience” and two albums of Sharki it is mentioned in “Gratitude” section. And in 2005 Sharky has taken part in shootings of clip Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix). It has shown, what even after so many years participants Prodigy remember Sharki who helped group to break on a musical Olympus during an epoch of a severe rave.

The Rev (Paul James)
Role in group: the Guitarist
The Rev (the Floor James) has got acquainted with The Prodigy in December, 2005 when its pank group “Towers of London” played a warming up in Brixton Academy. Liam has learnt group better, and after leaving the Uniform, 22-year-old The Rev has received the offer to play at them. According to the Floor to become the guitarist in a rock group always was its dream.
“I played three groups when to me was 14 and if all it was not I would not become those whom I am now. It only shows that if to work you will receive what you deserve. I was fan The Prodigy before chance reception to play at them and to go with them to drink beer. Now it is not trusted at all -” Anything to itself! We now friends! “. But I should be cool when I address 45 000 persons, and Kate Flint constantly jumps round me.”
The Rev, will always remember the roots in “Lancastrian”, and also will not leave “Towers of London” though does not know that better for the future.
All That Remains

All That Remains is a Massachusetts, United States-based metalcore band. Originally established in 1998, the group is currently signed to Prosthetic Records. Vocalist Philip Labonte was previously singer for the metal band Shadows Fall before he was replaced by Brian Fair. The band’s debut album, Behind Silence And Solitude, was released in March 2002, prompting DigitalMetal.com to hail the group as “one of the premier melodic death metal acts this side of the Atlantic.” Since the release of the first album, All That Remains have toured the United States three times, including tours with The Crown, Darkest Hour, As I Lay Dying, GWAR and Arch Enemy. This Darkened Heart, the band’s second album, showcases a kinetic sound drifting seamlessly between melody and relentless aggression. The album was produced by Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage (who Phil had auditioned for after Jesse Leach left) at Zing Studios. Some hits from this album were PlayVicious Betrayal, PlayPassion, and PlayThis Darkened Heart. Videos from this album were PlayThis Darkened Heart, PlayTattered on My Sleeve, and PlayThe Deepest Gray.
The band’s next, The Fall of Ideals was released on July 11, 2006 to acclaim from all angles, including Kerrang! and Metal Hammer. The first video from the album was PlayThis Calling, which was featured on the soundtracks of both Masters of Horror II and Saw III. It was followed by PlayThe Air That I Breathe. Additionally, their song PlaySix was featured on the Guitar Hero 2 game for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
On January 11, 2007, the band announced their new drummer, Jason Costa, previously of Diecast. 2007 also has seen the band’s first US headlining tour, which also featured Misery Signals, The Human Abstract, Light This City, and Cellador. All That Remains also made a special appearance at the New Jersey show of Sounds of the Underground in 2007.
A third video from “The Fall of Ideals” for the song Not Alone was released in mid-2007. Also, the band’s DVD, entitled “All That Remains Live”, was released in November of 2007. Currently, the band is co-headlining on tour with Trivium.
The bands fourth effort, Overcome, is a combination of hardcore screaming and clean singing, best example being a song for the hopeless. The cd is a departure from their previous efforts, but it can still be appreciated in many ways.
In addition, they have released three of their songs, Chiron, This Calling, and Two weeks, as a welcome addition to any rock band players library.
Soilwork
Soilwork is a swedish melodic death metal band formed in late 1995, originally under the name Inferior Breed in Helsingborg, Sweden. In 1996, they changed their name to Soilwork to better fit their new sound. Their unique sound is a fusion of the classic gothenburg metal sound with power-groove riffs of late 1970s, early 1980s British, and European metal, but in their most recent albums they have also introduced elements from american alternative metal and adopted a more melodic attitude. Their most recent work has more singing and lighter melodies than their earlier work, as well as a more polished production that brings out the strength of the drums.

In 2005, the band began to gain minor commercial success in the United States. Stabbing the Drama reached #12 and #21 on the Billboard Heatseeker and Independent album charts, respectively. They played the 2005 Ozzfest alongside gothenburg melodic death metal band In Flames.
In late 2005, guitarist Peter Wichers left the band due to tour exhaustion and other personal issues. Wichers now does music production for other bands. Of all the line-up changes with Soilwork, this one comes as the biggest and most disappointing to Soilwork fans, as Wichers was a very important member of the band and has a style of guitar-playing that many believe cannot be duplicated.
As of February 4th, 2007, Soilwork were in search for a new guitarist living in Sweden. On the tours in 2006 they were using Andreas Holma (ex-Hypocrisy) as a short-term replacement. After their 2006 U.S. tour, they planned to choose one of the guitarists they had been touring with. On February 17th, the band announced while performing at the House of Metal Festival in Umeå that Daniel Antonsson was the permanent new guitarist.
Soilwork’s seventh studio album, Sworn to a Great Divide, was released on the 19th of October 2007 through Nuclear Blast.
2008 has seen the departure of longtime guitarist Ola Frenning and the return of his nephew, Peter Wichers, to the band. Daniel Antonsson departed from the band upon Peter’s rejoining. The band has also added Sylvain Coudret of the band Scarve to it’s lineup as second guitarist.

In Flames
It was founded in 1990 in Gothenburg, Sweden by Jesper Strömblad as a side project from his then-current death metal band Ceremonial Oath. Jesper formed In Flames in order to write songs with a more melodic and progressive musical direction, which he was unable to do in Ceremonial Oath.
.jpg)
In 1993, Jesper quit Ceremonial Oath due to musical differences and began focusing more on In Flames. That same year, Jesper (guitar, drums, keyboards) recruited Glenn Ljungström (guitar), and Johan Larsson (bass) to form the first official In Flames line-up.
The trio recorded a three song demo and sent it to Wrong Again Records In order to increase their chances of being offered a record deal, the trio lied to the owner of the record label by telling him that they already had 13 songs done.
The owner of Wrong Again Records, seeing promise in the band, offered In Flames a record deal over the phone
During 1993, In Flames wrote, recorded, and self-produced their debut studio album, Lunar Strain, in Studio Fredman. Since In Flames did not have a vocalist yet, Jesper asked Mikael Stanne of Dark Tranquillity to provide session vocals.
In 1994, Lunar Strain was released.
During 1994, In Flames recorded and self-produced their first EP, Subterranean, in Studio Fredman. In Flames still did not have a vocalist yet, so session vocals were provided this time by Henke Forss. In 1995, Subterranean was released. Subterranean allowed In Flames to break out of the underground scene and led them to acquire a record deal with Nuclear Blast.
In 1995, In Flames finally got tired of using session musicians to record an album or to do live shows, so the trio asked Anders Fridén to join the band as the full-time vocalist and Björn Gelotte as the full-time drummer.
That same year, the new line-up recorded the band’s second studio album, The Jester Race. This album was recorded once again in Studio Fredman, but unlike previous albums, it was co-produced by the studio’s owner, Fredrik Nordström. In 1996, The Jester Race was released. Afterwards, In Flames toured with bands such as Samael, Grip Inc., and Kreator.
In 1997, In Flames recorded and released their third studio album, Whoracle. This album was recorded once again in Studio Fredman and co-produced by Fredrik Nordström. After the album was recorded, Glenn Ljungström and Johan Larsson unexpectedly announced that they were leaving In Flames.
Niklas Engelin (guitar) and Peter Iwers (bass) were recruited to fill in the vacant spots during a tour with Dimmu Borgir.
After the tour both Niklas Engelin and Peter Iwers were asked to join the band permanently, and they did. With the new line-up, In Flames then proceeded with a European tour and played their first two shows in Japan.
However, by the end of that tour in 1998, Niklas Engelin quit In Flames.
In 1998, to fill the vacant guitarist spot, the band decided to switch Björn Gelotte from his position as drummer to guitarist, and they recruited Daniel Svensson to take over as drummer.
That same year, the new line-up recorded the band’s fourth studio album, Colony. This album was recorded once again in Studio Fredman and co-produced by Fredrik Nordström. With this album the band changed to a mallcore-oriented melodeath sound.
In 2000, In Flames recorded and released their fifth studio album, Clayman. This album was recorded once again in Studio Fredman and co-produced by Fredrik Nordström. This album has more mallcore elements than the previous one. Afterwards, In Flames did some tours with bands such as Dream Theater, Slipknot, and Testament.
In August 2001, In Flames released The Tokyo Showdown, a live album recorded during the Japanese tour in November 2000.
In 2002, In Flames recorded and released their sixth studio album, Reroute to Remain. Unlike all previous albums, Reroute to Remain was not recorded in Studio Fredman or produced by Fredrik Nordström. The album was recorded in Dug-Out studio and produced by Daniel Bergstrand. This album is characterized by a predominant mallcore sound that will be noticeable in the next albums as well. That year the band toured with bands such as Slayer, Soulfly, and Mudvayne.
In 2003, In Flames recorded their seventh studio album, Soundtrack to Your Escape. The majority of the album was recorded in a house that the band rented in Denmark; only the drums were recorded in Dug-Out studio. This album was once again produced by Daniel Bergstrand. In 2004, Soundtrack to Your Escape was released. Afterwards, In Flames toured with bands such as Judas Priest, Motley Crue, and Motörhead. In Flames also played on the main stage during Ozzfest 2005.
In 2005, In Flames recorded and self-produced their eighth studio album, Come Clarity, in Dug-Out studio. That same year, In Flames released Used and Abused: In Live We Trust, a box set consisting of material filmed and recorded throughout various live performances during 2004. Also in 2005, In Flames decided to sign with an additional record label so future releases could have better distribution in North America.
In 2006, Come Clarity was released in North America through Ferret Music and elsewhere through Nuclear Blast. That same year, In Flames toured with Sepultura, toured on The Unholy Alliance tour, and played on the main stage at Download Festival.
In 2007 Inflames headlined and finished the festival at Bloodstock Open Air in England
On April 1st (April 4th for Europe), In Flames’ ninth studio album “A Sense of Purpose” was released on Nuclear Blast (for Europe) and Koch records (for North America).

#The Biography: the Command «Three Days Grace» has been generated in 1997, in Norvude, Ontario, Canada, on splinters of collective “Groundswell” existing since 1992. Into group structure have entered: Adam Gontier (a vocal, a guitar), Brad Walst (bass) and Neil Sanderson (drums). In 1997 when one of musicians, Barry the Drain, has left the group, the remained three have chosen to themselves a new name – Three Days Grace. Their first album with the name with the same name left in 2003 and approximately then the Drain has joined again musicians, and the trio has again turned to a quartet. The group has got over from Norvuda in Toronto and has met there producer Gavina Brown who was a producer of command Big Sugar, The Midway State, Billy Talent, Cancer Bats, Thornley, The Reason, The Tea Party, Danny Michel, Out of Your Mouth, etc. He has helped them to write down well-known «(I Hate) Everything About You» that has soon led to the contract with publishing house “EMI” and a record-label “Jive”. In a trace behind it, the group «Three Days Grace» in the company with Gavin Brown has started to work over a debut album. Work was conducted at studios: «Long View Farms Studios» (Sever Brukfilda), «Bearsville Studios» (Woodstock), «Vespa Studios» and «A Room Full Of Stuff Studios». The well-known have been involved In work on album data: Jay Baumgardner (Evanescence, Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Hoobastank, Coal Chamber, Korn, Machine Head, etc.) Rich Costey (Muse, Franz Ferdinand, The Mars Volta, Doves, Bloc Party, Jimmy Eat World, My Chemical Romance, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine, Dave Navarro, Mastodon, etc.) and Randy Staub (Nickelback, P. O. D., Stone Sour, Lostprophets, Metallica, 3 Doors Down, Downset, Hatebreed, Soil, Kittie, etc.)

The album with the same name from «Three Days Grace» has appeared on counters of musical shops on July, 22nd, 2003. It has entered into ten the best albums according to the Canadian chart, in number 100 of best of U. S. Billboard 200, and number one on Billboard Top Heatseekers a chart. The album single “(I Hate) Everything About You”, has reached numbers one in Canada and became one of ten best in the USA. The second single “Just Like You”, has presented to a command the one more first place in Canada. Also 3rd single “Home” has been let out. The next two years, group «Three Days Grace» has spent in tour rounds, representing itself as accompanying structure of eminent colleagues, and in quality headliners. In 2006 soloist Adam Gonte, bass player Brad Valst, the drummer Nile Sanderson and the guitarist of Barry the Drain have gone to Los Angeles for work on new, more powerful and conceptually new album One-X. This time Three Days Grace have created surprisingly sincere and powerful plate full of the diversified emotions, such as grief, anger, passion, loneliness, gloom and many other things that is obligatory attribute of high-quality fate. The lyrics written by Adamom Gonte, is capable to render strong impression even on the most tempted listeners, and musicians obviously play more confidently. Sounding Three Days Grace became absolutely unique so you learn at once One-X wherever have heard it. All songs on One-X differ on sense and emotions which they cause. The first track of album It’s All Over full of bitterness, mixed up with anger, releases from all emotional restrictions, as well as Pain, the present hit of this plate. Track Animal I Have Become became recently very popular on radio and TV as it is one of the most remembered songs One-X. The grief and lyrical mood overflow composition Never Too Late which most beautiful melody can cause tears in those who differs special sensitivity. Track Riot – the powerful rock composition, its name speaks for itself, the song is filled by the present insurgent spirit. Most brightly the talent of soloist Three Days Grace of Adam Gonte was showed in Get Out Alive, its rich and amazingly strong voice do a song unique. Track Let It Die is filled by grief and a despair and at once amazes with depth of experiences.

For your collection of romantic music, undoubtedly, composition Over And Over will approach – thanks to a wonderful melody and a magnificent vocal of Gonte it will leave nobody indifferent. Gone Forever and Let It Die – the excellent classical fate, and final header track One-X became the successful termination for such brilliant album. It leaves you with feeling of easy dissatisfaction because one listening One-X, undoubtedly, it is not enough. Usually, when musicians write down an album, they put before themselves a problem that in songs all their internal experiences were reflected, and this purpose is reached seldom enough. Three Days Grace possess that unique gift which helps them to create so emotional music that it gets into the heart. Their special sounding and Adam Gonte’s constantly evolving talent do group so unlike at many other rock commands, and its long history and the interesting past open the big possibilities before guys. Writing down album One-X, musicians were in Los Angeles, and assert that had not a good time at all, and assiduously worked for days on end therefore the album has turned out such what they conceived it. Distinction between the first and the subsequent creations Three Days Grace on the person. The second album, at least, has twice increased number of their admirers in the world as One-X is an obvious break. In view of success of such executors as Selin Dion, Nickelback and Avril of Avalanches, Three Days Grace have once again proved to the world that Canada – the native land of the present stars. It is necessary to hope that their following creation will be even better, than One-X, after all perfection does not have a limit. For now we can enjoy this plate because also it is in own way perfect. In June, 2006 musicians «Three Days Grace» have presented the next album «One-X» which became a debut for the new participant of group – the second guitarist Barry Stock. In support of a plate the command has made a number of concert actions in the company with eminent colleagues:« Staind “,” Hoobastank “and” Nickelback ».

Apropos “Two Lives”….
In 2001 when the group was going to start record
The first-born, in army have taken away PJ (the guitarist of that time and The vocalist)… Other choice it was not necessary as to start record without It… As to search for the new vocalist it is literally one week prior to record It was unreal, to become temporary the vocalist it was necessary [DENVER] ‘ at… Optimism At first was a little, but after several rehearsals at it the voice began To be cut, and it published so infernal sounds that Doubts apropos “WHO WILL SING NOW?” Does not remain. For a week All parties for 6 songs+cover to “I have been written down Has gone mad” and [STEWART] Has gone to Germany on a vacation (it has just finished 10′a’ class), Where at studio MORRMUSIC this distressful record also has been shown. In This process have taken part the stepfather [STEWART] ‘ and Heiko Klotz, and also Thorsten Seligеr (working with such monsters as Mudvayne and Tool in Time of their European tour). Worked was very uneasy as at Records of drums in one of Petersburg studios have been admitted Inexcusable errors… By every possible manipulations partially It was possible to rectify this situation and despite age and the first studio Experience, the sound has turned out more, than brutal.
Having returned from a vacation, group threw from the party and aside, there were The new musicians, the new songs, a new album… For a while about this record It has been forgotten, but has passed time and the decision to publish this A material was accepted… Initially wished to make a minialbum I “Do not live”, but all Were afraid that people will apprehend it as NEW Amatory, therefore in the end The ends have solved to translate some tracks with “Eternally the Destiny” Hides and To let out in the form of the MAKSI-SINGLE. The first 3 tracks differ on sounding from album versions, and in a song “Two Lives” is added small intro. The circulation A disk has made 2000 copies, therefore in the near future the disk Will be a collection curiosity.
In February, 2004 because of creative disagreements group leaves MC LEXUS. But soon there is a new participant and takes a place at a microphone – IGOS. Its manner of singing and giving very strongly differs that Was earlier. The structure has changed, the group has changed also… Not only sounding, But also the approach. The history proceeds…
In December, 2003 the first is let out fully an album “ETERNALLY the DESTINY” which has established the new quality standard of a sound and execution on An underground-scene HIDES . The car for murders has been started…
Denver: “When we started to work over an album, we have put Before ourselves the purpose – that it was perceived as a unit – instead of as Songs, which” in general abrupt “,” nothing so also”full dung”.
Alex: “Ours with Gang the purpose was to achieve a terrible sound of guitars and Not to do at all “sovok” stamps as in a writing of songs, And in the general sounding of an album. I think to us it it was possible”.
Stewart: “Writing down the tracks I has made everything that should – in them The part me is enclosed…”
Extreme aggression of music and quality of a sound distinguish this album from Many other albums on a growing up alternative scene of Russia. That, That have made AMATORY, were afraid to make many – to return to roots heavy Music and to “translate” it on the modern language.
Stewart: “All of us time were in studio, we were united by the general idea and not Was any doubts how this album- Should sound how it as a result sounds! We were not afraid to do more dirt and Weight”.
The album is not conceptual as from the point of view of texts and The points of view of music. A principle of their writing – “We wish to prove, impose and propagandise nothing the music And texts – simply we tell about that that passes through us everyone Day” – remained with group from the moment of creation of the first song till the moment A plate exit.
